Cheap flights from New York to Paris

July 12, 2026

The hop from New York to Paris is one of the best-value transatlantic runs going, with a cheapest fare of $188 right now. Reckon on about seven and a quarter hours in the air, almost always an overnight. Most flights use Charles de Gaulle north of the city; a few use Orly to the south, which sits closer to the Left Bank if that is where you are staying.

Timing matters more here than on most routes. Late October through March is when fares drop, holidays aside. Skip August: locals leave the city, but airfares and hotels stay stubbornly high, and half the good restaurants shut for the month. May and September give you warm weather without the July crush.

Once you land, the rest of Europe opens up fast. Rome is a two-hour flight and Barcelona not much longer, both cheap onward hops. Start with the Paris city guide, then look at Rome if you want to string two cities together.
